Teacher Exchange Programs

2. Spanish-language and/or ESL Administrators at the Junior High, Senior High, or Community College levels.

Spanish and ESL language administrators from junior high, senior high school, and at community college levels are invited to apply for this six-week non-simultaneous exchange program, which matches a U.S. administrator with a Mexican counterpart to work together for three weeks in each country.

Requirements: Be a U.S. citizen.
Be fluent in English.
Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree.
Be in a full-time administrative position (at least in the third year) .
Have not participated in a Fulbright Teacher Exchange longer than eight weeks in the last two years. (There is no required waiting period for teachers who have participated in exchanges of eight weeks or less).
Benefits: Affiliation with Mexican institution.
Health insurance for the US grantee.
Round trip air ticket for the U.S. grantee (up to $1,000USD).
Processing of the FM3 Mexican visa for the grantee (no dependents are allowed in this program).

Application deadline: October 2008.
