Teacher Exchange Programs

A. Teacher Exchange.

Since 1946, the Fulbright Teacher and Administrator Exchange Program has helped nearly 23,000 teachers and administrators contribute to mutual understanding between the United States and countries around the world. The Department of State/USDA is currently preparing the new application materials for the 2006-2007 program year. In the coming weeks, for those who are interested in submitting an applications, please note that the application will be available through the following web site: www.fulbrightteacherexchange.org The deadline for applications to the 2010-2011 program year is October 15, 2009.

1. Spanish-language and/or ESL teachers at the Primary, Junior High, Senior High, or Community College levels. (Academic Year).

2. Spanish-language and/or ESL Administrators at the Junior High, Senior High, or Community College levels. (Six-week non-simultaneous exchange program).
