Grants for Lecturers / Researchers

A. All Disciplines Award.

Description:

The rich, dynamic relationship between the United States and Mexico offers numerous opportunities for scholars interested in conducting research and/or teaching on issues of relevance for both countries. COMEXUS is particularly interested in projects conducted by U.S. scholars on Mexican culture, society and politics to deepen the understanding of Mexico in the United States. Areas of collaboration go far beyond border issues (which are also of relevance to COMEXUS) and can include projects on migration, ecological issues, public health, education, public policy and other areas or the emergence of binational interest groups in areas such as human rights, environmental protection and trade policy. COMEXUS will also support projects in the arts that further dialogue and contact between U.S. and Mexican arts communities.
