Grants for Students E. English Teaching
Assistantships. Program Description:
The ETA Program aims to strengthen English language instruction at Mexican
public educational institutions by establishing a native speaker presence. At
the same time, U.S. participants will gain from intensive cross-cultural
interaction and international education experience.
Security Policy
The commission follows the recommendations of both the Mexican government and
the U.S. Embassy Travel Warnings when placing US Fulbright grantees in Mexico.
This may mean that placement will be restricted in certain states or areas of
Mexico depending upon these recommendations.

Applications are welcome from B.A. and M.A. levels. Candidates with degrees in
English, Spanish, education, TESOL, or applied linguistics with some experience
in teaching or tutoring are preferred. Other fields will be seriously considered
